This Is The Life

This is Ken’s most popular book. It has a specific goal – to establish your heart in grace. Grace is what makes Christianity unique. If we fail to make the grace connection we end up turning Christianity into just another religion, i.e. another works trip. Grace brings us into the realm of divine ability.

There are ten chapters in This Is The Life

#1 “Deficient or Sufficient?” We may not know all that life will throw at us but we do know that we have been made sufficient for all things.

#2 “Condition or Position?” It is not what we do that determines who we are, but who we are that determines what we will do. The more a believer understands his new creation identity the more his behavior will line up with it.

#3 “Change or Exchange?” Religion says, “You must change, in order to be accepted.” This leads to guilt, condemnation and defeat. God says, “The way to acceptance is to exchange your sin for Christ’s righteousness.” Believing we are righteous is essential if we are to be empowered by grace. Grace reigns through righteousness!

#4 “Follow or Abide?” Those who follow Jesus have only His example, but those who abide in Him have His life. Which are you living by?

#5 “Law or Grace?” Law is what we try to do for God. Grace is what He has done for us in Christ. Are God’s blessings to us based upon law or grace? How much of the Christian life is an attempt to do deals with God? #6 “Positive Thinking or Correct Thinking?” How do we win the battle for the mind? Is it by a positive outlook or by believing the truth? Is it positive thinking that sets us free, or the truth? #7 “Self-esteem or Self-denial?” God’s way to self-worth is not self-esteem but Christ-esteem.

#8 “Flesh or Spirit?” Every Christian is capable of manifesting two different lives – the works of the flesh or the fruit of the Spirit. How do we walk in the Spirit?

#9 “Same or Different?” Is every Christian identical, or are we each different? In this chapter we explore the uniqueness of our new creation identity and how we each have a special, distinct place in the body of Christ.

#10 “Produce or Reproduce?” Is the ultimate aim of discipleship to grow or to multiply? The purpose of this chapter is to teach believers how to make disciples.

Life Seekers

We are living in what many now call a ‘post-Christian era’, especially in the Western world. No longer can we assume that people are familiar with teaching about creation, the Fall and redemption. It may be wiser now to teach the gospel, rather than just preach the gospel!

Before we answer questions people are not yet asking, let’s seek to answer the questions they are asking. This will provide us with a natural progression into a presentation of the gospel message.

Here are some of the common questions people ask today:

*“Why do you teach creation? Haven’t the scientists proved that the world came into being through evolution?”

*“How can you be so sure that the Bible is true?”

*“How do you know that Christianity is the only true way? There are many other religions. They sound just as convincing.”

*“You base your whole faith in the resurrection of Jesus. But what if He didn’t rise from the dead?”

Life Seekers seeks to answer these questions, and more. In the six group studies contained in this book:

*We reveal atheism in the same way the Bible does - as a condition of the heart and not the intellect.

*We expose the subtle deception of agnosticism, i.e. “willed ignorance”. (The person who truly wants to know the truth will always find it.)

*We present evidence for the reliability of the Scriptures, and show them to be God’s clear revelation to the world.

*We demonstrate clearly why Christ is the only way of salvation.

The Gift

This book deals with the subject of our salvation. Some of the things covered are:

*The gift of salvation – is it based on what we do for God or what He has done for us?

*The power of identity – is it what we do that determines who we are, or is it knowing who we are that will determine what we will do?

*How do we align our thinking with our new creation status?

*Who are you – sinner, saint, or both? Does salvation produce spiritual schizophrenics, or a new creation?

*What are the four major keys to living in victory over sin?

*What is the flesh?

*What is the difference between a natural person, a carnal person and a spiritual person?

*What is ‘the world’ and what is our relationship to it now?

*Know your enemy. Who is Satan and how do we resist him?

*The armor of God and spiritual warfare.

*Abiding in the true Vine. Are we Christ-dependent or co-dependent?

*How to discover your gift. Seven biblical principles that will help you discover your ministry gift.

*Is the baptism in the Holy Spirit primarily given to make us happy, or fruitful?

*Passing the baton on. How to make disciples.

The Reward

This book outlines the responsibilities of grace. The purpose of salvation is not only to take us from judgment and condemnation but also unto holiness and glory. Grace releases us to be all that God desires for us to be. But more than this - He has even promised to reward us for walking worthy of His Son whilst on earth! This reward, however, is a prize which can be forfeited. Only when we have successfully run our race can we say, as Paul said, that there is a crown of righteousness laid up for us in the age to come.

There will be many surprises at the judgment seat of Christ, and many tears also. Christians who despise their inheritance by carnal living, as Esau did, will discover that they have forfeited their reward. Thus, the apostle Paul urges us to run our race in such a way that we may receive the prize.

Some of the topics covered in this manual are:

*What is the difference between ‘gift’ and ‘reward’?

*What is the judgment seat of Christ? What is the connection between gift and reward and the judgment seat of Christ?

* Grace is God’s ability in the place of our inability. But how do we access the grace of God?

*What is God’s purpose in chastening, and how can we be sure we are responding to chastening in such a way as to profit from it?

*Peace & holiness. The writer says that without these two things we will not see the Lord. What does this mean?

*How to find mercy at the judgment seat of Christ.

*The coming kingdom. Christ is coming to reign over the earth and He wants you and I to reign with Him.

*And much more...

Studies In Romans

It was while Martin Luther was doing some studies in Romans that he became enlightened concerning the true nature of salvation. This revelation led to the Great Reformation and was to impact the Church forever.

The epistle to the Romans has been used more than any other book in the Bible to give both a clear and comprehensive understanding of the doctrine of salvation.

Martin Luther said, “This book is the chief book of the New Testament. It is the purest gospel. The more one spends in it, the more precious it becomes.”

Romans has profoundly impacted many others. For example:

*John Wesley’s view of salvation was distorted until he listened to someone reading the preface to Luther’s commentary on Romans. He said, “I felt my heart strangely warmed. I felt I did trust in Christ and Christ alone.”

*Augustine, also, was converted by reading a few verses from this great epistle.

*John Bunyan received much of his inspiration for Pilgrims Progress while reading the book of Romans in jail in Bedford, England.

*John Calvin said of this book, “Every Christian should feed upon it as the daily bread of his soul.”

Countless numbers of Christians can testify to the fact that their entire Christian experience has been transformed through this epistle.

Sadly, Christianity today is becoming more and more bound in legalism and behaviour modification. It’s almost as if we need another Reformation!

Now you can have your own printable bible studies in this life-transforming epistle on e-book Studies In Romans and share these wonderful truths with others.

There are 10 user-friendly printable bible studies in this e-Book, based on Romans chapters 1-8. Easy to print and use!

FirstLove

These studies may become your pathway to personal revival! The Christian life is all about a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God. So often we forget this and before we realize it, the intimacy is no longer there.

The Song of Solomon, though probably based on an actual experience, is an allegory of the relationship between Christ and the believer. It depicts the typical ebb and flow of personal devotion that most Christians experience.

But it is more. It is a call to awaken from spiritual slumber, to return to our first love, to discover afresh that one thing which alone can satisfy our thirsty souls - divine love; and to arise and come away with Him.

These studies have been written to awaken our spiritual passion for Christ once again and set us on the pathway to personal revival.

Now you can have your own printable bible studies from the Song of Solomon on e-book FirstLove and share these precious truths with other hungry souls. There are 7 user-friendly printable bible studies in this e-Book. Easy to print and use!
